Inclusion of new works

Professional photographers and artists can apply for the inclusion of their projects into the Society for Humanistic Photography. We will review applications and suggestions continuously. And will get back to you a soon as possible.

What we are looking for:
We seek professional photographic projects, reportages, series and exhibitions on the following subjects:
  • The situation and living-circumstances in developing as well as in transformation countries (the subjects includes from our point of view anything from HIV in Africa to the lives of women and children in regions in crisis).
  • Right wing radicalism
  • International understanding
  • Eastern Europe and the new EU-acceding countries
  • The impacts of globalisation
  • Environmental protection and sustainable development
But we also are willing to review interesting and haunting proposals concerning other subjects.

That's what you get!
All accepted works will be shown in form of an exhibition-tour, in Germany and Europe and will also be rented out to cooperation partners in situ. The projects will be introduced on our website and presented via our mailing list to a large, international audience, as well as to selected representatives of art- and cultural institutions. In order to enquire the presented subjects more extensively, the shows will be accompanied by public discussion forums, book presentations and artist talks wherever possible. The achieved fees will be paid to the photographers after any expenses which may ensue, have been deducted by us.

Not least the Society for Humanistic Photography provides a forum, which allows you to discuss questions and problems with like-minded colleges, as well as to exchange information. Our network with engaged photographers is a great opportunity to present own projects, and to get most useful and interesting contacts.

More information on the inclusion of new projects you will find on the sites about us and inclusion of new works.
