Photographer
 
Katia Klose was born in Berlin in 1972. Her formation as a  photographer was followed by studies in Visual Communication at the Art College Berlin-Weißensee. Since 1997 Katia Klose studied photography at the renown Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig, Germany, where she achieved a master of arts. During this time she received a scholarship from DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst), which supported the realisation of her project "lost generation" in Australia.
 
Katia Klose lives in Leipzig with her family and works, among other activities, as a lecturer at Abendakademie of Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst.
