Fold and Go New Delhi, India 2008 Paper has been sorted in advance and is now prepared for sale. The women are folding the delivered goods and tie them into bundles, visible in the background. For slum-dwellers, such recycling of plastic, paper, metals, and of any other waste that can be turned into cash, is often the only source of income. This grade of paper, for example, is sold for 5 Indian Rupees a kilo (this corresponds to 0,07 euro).  |
