Preying for Food New Delhi, India 2008 A boy, standing on the outer rim of the mountains of rubbish, eats some food he found during his work. In India, child labour is forbidden by law since 1986 but still many of the families involved in the waste picking business enlist the work of their children. According to Indian government statistics, 13 million children below the age of 14 have to work daily. |
