The photographer

Enrico Fabian (*1982) lives and works as a freelance photographer in New Delhi, India. Among his clients are newspapers and magazines, governmental- and non-governmental organisations, political institutions and companies around the world, such as: Focus (Germany), Saxonian Newspaper (Germany), The Hindu (India), Hindustan Times (India), Tehelka (India), The Evening Standard (UK), GTZ (Germany/India), IFAD (USA/India), Friedrich Ebert Foundation (Germany/India), German Embassy New Delhi (India).

His documentation “Tracing Waste - The Kabaris' Contribution to Society”, has been shown already in solo- and group-shows, some of them completed by a lecture, among others at following venues: India Habitat Center (India), American Center (India), American Embassy School (India), German School New Delhi (India).

In his documentations Enrico Fabian focuses on those people, who are usually invisible in our society, but thereby never loses his objective gaze on the subject itself. With his images, he wants to build bridges and to encourage the audience to take a part of the stories along with them and to carry them further – despite of their heavy content.
